Sail O.D.1
O.D.1 is a Westerly Oceanlord 41 operated as a Sail Training Vessel for Explorer Scouts. Based in Portsmouth Harbour, her normal cruising ground for weekends is the Solent, with longer trips giving the chance of trips further afield. O.D.1 normally sails with a qualified Skipper and Mate and a crew of 7 Explorer Scouts, plus one Leader.

Bedlam 2008 13th - 14th September |
The idea behind the weekend is to give leaders, Administrators, and Scout Network members and their families the chance to experience various outdoor activities, share ideas and opinions and generally to give you a chance to enjoy yourselves. During the weekend you will have the chance to try, kayaking, canoeing, archery, shooting, and climbing as well as a range of other less strenuous activities that you could then take away to use with the young people within your group. County Commissioners Challenge 2008 Closing Date: 31st Dec |
You will find below a set of challenges for the young people in your group/section which I hope as many of your young people will attempt to complete during 2008. The challenges are based on the balanced programme and in many cases alternative challenges exist in the programme areas. To complete the challenge the young person must undertake all sections and have these ‘signed off’ by one of their leaders. Everybody who completes all the challenges will receive a certificate and badge. On completion the completed form should be returned to your DC. Please make as many local copies of the forms that you need.
