Luton Sea Scouts invite you to push the boat out

Pushing the boat out

Jo Merrick, Group Scout Leader of the First Luton Sea Scouts, is inviting you to push the boat out during an adventure-packed weekend at Luton Hoo. You have a choice of three dates in May, July and September. The events are open to all young people from Beaver Colonies right up to Explorer Units. It’s an opportunity for you to get on the water in yachts, canoes, kayaks, power boats and vessels of all kinds. There’s even a chance to make and launch your own raft.

Admiralty-recognised Luton Sea Scouts, a byword in smartness, have a reputation for adventurous Scouting and a fondness for the water that has to be seen to be believed. They also regularly pass their Admiralty inspection during a nerve-racking review by the Admiralty’s top brass. So you will be in good hands as they share their skills with you.

Places are going rapidly. To take part in one of these events just e-mail your details to: first.luton.seascouts@hotmail.co.uk and then get your sea legs in trim. For full details see the Sea Scouts poster here.
