The February/March issue of Scouting magazine is one of the first to feature a Royal Cover story. It tells the inspirational news of the Duchess of Cambridge who has just become Scouting's latest recruit.

Where were you on January 5th when the news was announced? As Bear Grylls says, "The duchess has an incredibly busy life which makes it all the more inspiring that she has chosen to volunteer alongside us."

We are looking for similar stories about volunteers in Bedfordshire as part of a national campaign. Do you have any leaders in you District/Group who volunteered despite being incredibly busy? Write a few notes and send them to: Bedscouts@btinternet.com. Or you can write the story for the BLOG. If you can get them to stand still for a moment, an image of them in action would be excellent.
