The census is over for another year and I’m pleased to announce that our numbers have increased, showing 11% more youth members than last year. We’re still not back fully to pre-Covid numbers but we’re heading in the right direction. Furthermore, sixteen Groups have grown beyond their 2020 (ie pre-Covid) membership – that is truly amazing! Well done everyone!
We have been less fortunate with our adult numbers that are, with a few exceptions, still around last year’s figures. Clive Mear and his team are working to produce a variety of materials to support adult recruitment. Let's hope we can find more to help us allow even more young people to come and join the fun!
